Yes I am falling behind! So I have decided to give an update, hopefully a brief one, as to why I have not been posting in the past few weeks. I have done a couple things since the new year began, but other personal roadblocks have kept me somewhat busy and unable to get the fun stuff shared. I had to get my house ready to be put on the market. In order to do that, I needed to get a lot of things packed up and put into storage in order to de-clutter the house. Also needed to get the place cleaned, which meant a good amount of work. When it was all done, my wife and were able to get away for one of the occasions that I will be doing a write up on, and hopefully get it started by the end of the week.
Other than the home situation, I was laid off from my job, in which my boss had informed me would more than likely happen when I returned to work after the time off over the holidays. Which as it turns out, he closes the shop down for the week or so from Christmas to New Years. It wasn't but a week after that that I got sick. So I called in, and the next day I was told it was slow and to check in prior to the following work week to see if I would be needed. At that point, I was still sick, and was then received a text that I was being laid off. Bad business practices are the result of the lay off. To top it off, prior to the holiday off time, I had decided to turn down a better paying job. Why? I needed to be where I was for at least six months for the reason we were to be buying or renting the next house. So I kind of got screwed on that decision.
So as of late, I have been busy getting things together so I could go back to selling again on eBay. I have to bring the money in somehow, and since I have been buying and selling on eBay since November of 1999, I just figured I would amp it up and work harder to get the money coming in. So I have been hitting the thrift stores buying some things to bring that money in. Other than selling on eBay, I had started another college course for welding. I figured since I went through the Auto Body and Paint courses, I would continue to take courses that would help me in my new career industry. So far it's been going pretty well. So I need to catch up on the blogging! I will do so when time permits me to do so. I have to write about my Wine Tasting weekend, A concert review for a local show I attended, which I was able to photograph, and video 2 of the bands on the docket. Then this weekend, I will be attending the Sacramento Autorama. I hope to get there for Friday, when the attendance is hopefully scarce. I need to get more photos and video, and it's easier with less people around. I also plan to go again on Saturday. The more I am there, The more I will see and get to take my sweet time getting those photos and videos. So, Until I get back on track, I appreciate the patience for those that actually do read my writings. I greatly appreciate it!
I decided to start this blog to as an avenue for me to be able to post about some of the fun things that I do from time to time. It could be a Car Show revue, what I did on Vacation, my weekend of volunteering at the World Famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, what I like about this or that automobile, my experience with a photo shoot, what I have in my mobilia collection, or whatever I think of at the moment. I hope you like it! All feedback will be appreciated.
